ABOUT THE ROLE
Second Front Systems (2F) is seeking an ambitious and motivated Senior Federal Solutions Architect (SA) to join our mission-driven team. You will be at the forefront of driving the technical adoption and scaling of our revolutionary Game Warden platform—an industry-leading tool accelerating the secure adoption of mission-critical SaaS solutions for the U.S. government.
We are growing quickly and need an experienced Federal Solutions Architect to play a key role in helping to secure future business and partnership initiatives. The SA will represent 2F as a technical SME during customer and market-facing engagements and collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, customer success, business development, and government engagement teams.

What You’ll Do
As a Federal Solutions Architect, you will drive technical engagements with CEOs, CTOs, engineering directors, and software engineers, inspiring confidence in our team and products throughout the entire customer journey. Specific responsibilities include:
Serve as a key member of the Global Public Sector team, owning technical aspects of direct customer engagements
Participate in go-to-market efforts including introduction calls, technical sales presentations, RFP/RFI responses, product demos, architecture design sessions, and technical workshops
Develop in-depth technical knowledge of Second Front products and represent 2F internally and externally as a trusted SME
Track customer feedback and engage with product teams to align roadmaps with demand signals
Support business development efforts by developing/reviewing marketing content (blogs, posts, technical documentation)
Skills You’ll Bring to Our Team
Self-starter who can thrive independently and in team settings
Strong client-facing experience, ideally within the Defense Industrial Base (sales, partnerships, BD, or customer success)
Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure (certified or eager to certify)
Senior-level experience in technical roles (software engineering, sales engineering, technical product management) with proven problem-solving skills
Hands-on software development, networking, or DevOps experience with cloud technologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively in high-pressure environments
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a federal/government-facing solutions architect role
Strong track record supporting complex enterprise SaaS customers
Experience communicating and influencing at all levels of an organization
Cybersecurity knowledge or certifications (e.g., Security+)
Familiarity with 2F’s tech stack: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Istio, Git, GitLab, Terraform, relational databases
Knowledge of DevSecOps tools and practices
Active Security Clearance (TS/SCI)
Ability to travel up to 25%
The expected base salary range for this role is $220,000 – $250,000. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, level, and geographic location. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and equity grants as part of the total compensation package.
