Contract and Compliance Specialist (f/m/d)

About Satellogic

Satellogic is a vertically integrated Earth Observation company that designs, manufactures, and operates satellite systems, delivering decision-grade insights at scale to government and commercial customers.

We build space systems end-to-end, from satellite design and manufacturing to launch and on-orbit operations, giving us the ability to deploy quickly, operate reliably, and support persistent monitoring across regions and priority areas. Our approach moves customers beyond one-off imagery toward continuous awareness and alert-driven decision-making, with flexible pathways that can evolve from managed monitoring to full satellite ownership and sovereign control.

Our technology supports a wide range of use cases across climate monitoring, agriculture, energy, infrastructure, defense and intelligence, helping organizations detect change, manage risk, and plan with confidence.

With a team distributed across five countries, Satellogic brings together expertise in satellite engineering, software development, data science, manufacturing, operations, and go-to-market. We’re a group of purpose-driven builders who value ownership, curiosity, and execution—and who work with humility, honesty, and empathy.

About the Team

The Operations team is the backbone of Satellogic’s commercial and regulatory velocity. We manage the delicate balance between rapid international expansion and strict adherence to global regulatory frameworks. This team ensures that every partnership, from supply chain vendors to sovereign customers, is built on a foundation of clear, compliant, and risk-mitigated agreements.

About the Position

We are seeking a Contract and Compliance Specialist with a high degree of "attention to detail" to manage our growing portfolio of global agreements and regulatory obligations. This US-based role requires a practitioner who is equally comfortable churning through high-volume NDAs and DPAs as they are navigating complex commercial contracts that mix hardware products with software services. You will also serve as a key point of contact for regulatory filings and ongoing attestations to ensure Satellogic remains in good standing with all governing bodies.

Responsibilities

  • Contract Management: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), data processing agreements (DPAs), and standard service/product agreements.
  • Commercial Drafting: Review and refine complex commercial agreements, ensuring clear distinctions between product delivery and ongoing service-level obligations.
  • Regulatory Filings: Prepare and submit license applications and updates to regulatory bodies (e.g., NOAA, FCC, FAA as well as alternate jurisdiction filings) as required for satellite operations and data dissemination.
  • Compliance & Attestation: Manage the calendar for ongoing reporting, certifications, and attestations; ensure all filings are accurate and submitted ahead of critical deadlines.
  • Audit Support: Maintain a centralized, audit-ready database of all executed agreements and compliance records.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as the bridge between Legal, Finance, and Sales to ensure contractual terms align with operational capabilities and financial targets.

About You

  • Experience: 3–5+ years in contract administration or legal compliance, ideally within the aerospace, defense, or high-tech sectors.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Deep familiarity with NDAs, commercial agreements, regulatory filing structure and intellectual property.
  • Detail Oriented: You are someone who catches the missing comma in a 50-page agreement and thrives on maintaining organized, complex filing systems.
  • Agile: Ability to pivot between straightforward administrative tasks and complex, multi-layered commercial negotiations.
  • Location: Remote (United States).

Diversity Commitment

Satellogic values diversity and inclusion and is an equal opportunity employer. We are convinced that hiring and developing top talent from around the world for any given discipline will drive innovation, generate new solutions, and deliver a superior product to our global customer base. We work to build an equitable and inclusive environment in which all people, regardless of gender, race, religion, or background, can come together to do their best work.
