Our Research & Certification team is looking for a summer 2023 intern (flexible dates, remote within EU hours) to research greenhouse gas emissions associated with agricultural dairy. We’re former academic research scientists working to lower the agricultural carbon footprint, and to get more carbon out of the atmosphere and into the soil.

Who we’re looking for

Quantitative, independent, + independently interested in creative approaches to climate solutions. We’re a remote company spread across Europe, so comfort taking ownership of your work is important. We work with a tremendous amount of respect for each other, and freely disagree with and question each other in pursuit of common goals.

You’re fluent in spreadsheets, and can critically read, extract data from, and synthesize scientific papers. These are our need-to-have’s, but we’re pretty flexible on everything else. Ideally, you’re also comfortable finding and navigating clunky governmental databases, and have had exposure to statistics and data analysis.

We think this position is probably a best fit if you’re studying climate change, environmental policy, GHG/climate solutions, agriculture, or biogeochemistry, though we’d still be excited to chat if your expertise and interest fall outside of that!
