The Opportunity

As the Lead Go-to-Market Strategist for Tier 1 Partnerships, you will spearhead marketing strategies for Root's most significant and high-profile partnerships. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend creative marketing strategy with data-driven execution in partnership with some of the world's most respected brands.
You'll be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that maximize the value of these partnerships while ensuring these experiences seamlessly integrate with our partners' customer journeys. Working at the intersection of marketing, product, and business development, you'll help shape how millions of consumers discover and engage with Root through these premium channels.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $126,000 (Bonus & LTI)
How You Will Make an Impact
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for Root's Tier 1 partnerships
Collaborate closely with partner marketing teams to create cohesive, co-branded customer experiences
Design launch strategies for new partnerships and partnership features to maximize initial impact
Establish measurement frameworks and KPIs to track partnership marketing effectiveness
Identify opportunities to optimize the customer journey and conversion rates through A/B testing
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business Development teams to ensure marketing strategies align with product capabilities and business goals
Develop campaigns and marketing assets that maintain brand consistency while meeting partner requirements
Present marketing strategies and results to executive leadership and partner stakeholders
Stay current on automotive industry trends
What You Will Need to Succeed
5+ years of experience – agency, automotive, or financial services preferred
Experience working with high-profile national and global brands
Proven track record of developing successful marketing strategies for major brand partnerships
Experience with "cold starts" – launching and scaling new marketing channels or initiatives
Strong analytical mindset with ability to derive insights from campaign data
Excellent project management skills with ability to coordinate multiple workstreams
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders
Experience working in fast-paced, results-oriented environments
