The Opportunity

We are looking for a Finance Operations Analyst, a high-energy, action-oriented individual who will proactively look at issues from multiple directions, is comfortable making recommendations, and uses technology to enhance and improve the delivery of job assignments. The most successful candidate will be able to step into our fast-paced environment in order to support our growing accounts payable needs.

Root is a "work where it works best" company. However, this role is a hybrid position that will require in-office work at our headquarters in Columbus, OH.

Salary Range: $57,457-$80,000

How You Will Make an Impact

• Process manual check payments

• Assist with vendor onboarding

• Process invoices

• Review items in Ramp

• Assist in reviewing Travel and Expense items in the expense management system

• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances

• Accurate and effective documentation and records management relative to the accounts payable function

• Assist in miscellaneous administrative items
  

What You Will Need to Succeed

• Bachelors' degree preferred

• Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements preferred

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products

• Easily builds joint working relationships

• Approaches problems with an open mind

• Curious in nature

• Great attention to detail

• Ability to multitask

• Self-starter, with strong social, teamwork, and partnering skills
