Systems Engineer (m/f/d) We are looking for an exceptionally motivated and experienced Systems Engineer (f/m/d) to the Systems Engineering team. You will work in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for excellence by creating high-performance engineering solutions while keeping prototyping and production costs at an absolute minimum. Your Tasks Develop, update and maintain requirements and architecture of the launch vehicle Coordination of activities between the various technical departments and interfaces (vehicle, propulsion, launch, avionics) Perform trade-offs (mass, cost, functionality and complexity) for vehicle and ground interfaces/architecture Contribute to the creation of documentation and risk analysis and test matrix for critical systems. Interpret test results and derive quantitative reliability of the systems Implement and maintain fluid and electrical architecture (P&IDs) of systems from operational and safety point of view Aid in the formulation of tools/strategies to enhance the operational efficiency of day-to-day engineering tasks. Manage and maintain verification/test cases for vehicle systems Your Qualifications Degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, physics or related discipline 2 to 4 years’ work experience in aerospace/mechanical/energy industry Good knowledge of launch vehicle systems and operations Experience with requirements engineering and risk analysis (FMECA/FTA) Hands-on experience in student team projects, competitive events, hands-on projects is advantageous. Very good knowledge of hydraulic & pneumatic systems, control systems, fluid mechanics, and instrumentation Good knowledge and practical experience with Python to create tools/automation scripts is beneficial Fluent English oral and written (all day-to-day activities are performed in English) Maintain a positive and constructive attitude in the face of technical and non-technical challenges Excellent problem solving and communication skills Highly organized and proactive approach to your work We offer Atmosphere: Experience life in an international & dynamic New Space start-up
