Avionics Development and Test Intern (m/f/d) Our Avionics department is searching for a highly motivated individual to join us as an Avionics Development and Test Intern (m/f/d). This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced aerospace environment, contributing directly to demanding prototyping efforts that support major, time-critical test campaigns. Your Tasks Your personal responsibilities in the team will include some of the following:
Development of Electrical/Electronic Components: Support the design, development, and testing of avionics hardware. Development of test platforms/environments: Design, develop and build test platforms to effectively test avionics systems. Test Procedure Development: Contribute to the creation of cost- and time-effective test methodologies. Systems Design: Work on electrical wiring harnesses, Electrical circuits, and mechatronic subsystems for avionics applications. Hands on work for integration and debugging of avionics hardware. Engineering Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical reports, schematics, and development documentation. Your Qualifications Meeting some of these requirements will give you a strong basis with which to join our team.
Current student in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline. Experience in working with electrical and electronics testing equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, power supplies, DAQs etc.). Ability to work hands-on with avionics and IT hardware. Experience with electronics circuit design, schematics capture, and related tools like Altium, KiCAD, LTSpice. Strong communication skills to conduct technical meetings and collaborate with multiple departments. The ability to work effectively independently and under pressure within tight deadlines. Fluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English) Strong motivation to participate in New Space and contribute to cutting-edge aerospace projects.
