What you'll do

You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering exceptional service experiences for our government clients. We work with customers who rely on us every day, and we want you to help us raise the bar! In this role, you’ll guide the design and delivery of bespoke and non‑standard services, strengthen partnerships across the business, and lead improvements that make our services even better.

You’ll be the person who brings teams together, solves challenges, and keeps our service promise strong. We value curiosity, collaboration, and a mindset focused on continuous improvement — and we’d love for you to help us grow in those areas too.


The day-to-day

Every day looks a little different, and that’s what makes the work exciting! You’ll spend time:

  • Partnering with sales, commercial, operations, and client teams to understand unique service requirements.
  • Managing and improving a portfolio of bespoke services, making sure every client gets the experience they expect.
  • Monitoring service levels and taking action when something needs attention.
  • Leading customer service reviews and creating clear, meaningful updates for senior stakeholders.
  • Handling escalations with professionalism and confidence while supporting teams to resolve issues quickly.
  • Spotting trends, analysing root causes, and driving improvements that make our services more reliable.
  • Supporting revenue assurance and ensuring invoicing aligns with the services we provide.
  • Working with Account teams to identify new opportunities and strengthen our relationships with customers.

What you'll need

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

  • A strong foundation in service management frameworks like ITIL (incident, change, problem, service level management).
  • Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
  • Leadership strengths — guiding people, influencing without authority, and inspiring teamwork.
  • Solid project‑management skills and comfort balancing multiple priorities.
  • The ability to analyse complex situations, understand root causes, and make thoughtful decisions.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and finding better ways of working.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance (SC).


What will help you on the job

It’s great (but not essential!) if you also have:

  • Experience with budgeting, cost management, or financial planning in a service environment.
  • A broad understanding of satellite telecommunications technologies, systems, or infrastructure.
  • Exposure to bespoke solutions or specialised customer environments.
