What you'll do
The successful candidate will work on a mission-critical software development program for the ground systems of LEO constelaltion. We are looking for a candidate with a strong analytical skills and hands on software development background with technical mentorship experience. In this role, you will understand the technical landscape, set the direction for the team, find ways to move forward when obstacles arise
The day-to-day
- Participate in system design and definition efforts of resource management applications for LEO satellites.
- Apply your knowledge of 5G RAN resource management to optimize resources of distributed ground network supporting LEO satellites
- Drive software architecture, design and implementation efforts
- Participate in DevOps efforts
- Opportunity to play the technical lead role for a small team.
- Travel up to 10%.
What you'll need
- 8 - 10years in C, C++, Golang, Python, and Linux scripting experience
- 3GPP NR, LTE, NB-IoT protocol stack knowledge/experience
- Experience solving large scale network solution through algorithmic solutions and application of AI/ML
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting for cloud native applications
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Github actions
- Demonstrated experience with public cloud technologies in any of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related field
What will help you on the job
- Experience with O-RAN based gNB management framework
- Willingness to support production network for your own software (concurrent with working hours)
- Strong verbal and visual presentation skills
