We are currently looking for a program manager director to be the vital cog that enables us to smartly and efficiently expand our market share in the US Department of Defense and US Federal Government as well as International Government markets. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing direct sales account activities, customer service, program and product management including budgets and schedules, production operations scheduling and prioritization, as well as a proven ability to work with sales supporting organizations to include business unit management, Contracts, legal, People and Culture, and marketing. The Sales Program Manager Director will be adept at working with the entire business development and sales team in analyzing current market conditions, forecasting future market characteristics, and developing strategic plans to grow smartly and efficiently. The Sales Program Manager Director will be a forward thinking, creative, proactive, demanding and curious key member of our sales team tasked with managing the execution of BD and Sales internal activities. This level of foresight and meticulous, data driven execution is what will bring our company to the next level.


The day-to-day

  • Support business and sales territory plan development and execution
  • Manage the BD and Sales programmatic budgets
  • Manage the research and creation of new sales tools as needed
  • Manage the execution of sales initiatives
  • Support the execution of sales campaigns
  • Work with production operations to manage/coordinate the prioritization of deliveries to meet operational requirements
  • Work with product support and engineering to manage the resolution of field issues, providing status and the messaging to the end customer community
  • Trusted advisor to our business development, sales, operations, finance and product business organizations
  • Find and fix sales process weaknesses
  • Meet regularly with other team members to discuss progress and find new ways to improve the business
  • Compile and analyze data to identify trends

What you'll need

  • This position is a US Government sales position. US Citizenship required
  • A minimum of a US Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent business-related experience.
  • 15 years of professional experience in a program management or equivalent role
  • Ability to deliver on several responsibilities simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal (presentations/briefings) communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solver with an aptitude and appetite for analytics, but can go beyond the numbers to articulate insights and operationalize them
  • Must be able to travel (domestically and internationally) as needed
  • Location is flexible

What will help you on the job

  • Top Secret Clearance
  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in business (MBA) or related discipline
  • Proficiency with common customer success and customer relationship management software, such as Microsoft CRM or Salesforce

Salary range

$151,000.00 - $238,000.00 / annually. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $187,500.00- $281,500.00/ annually
