We are seeking an intern to support our Business Operations area. The intern will assist in monitoring all active contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and deadlines. Key responsibilities include interacting with internal systems to input and update contract information, as well as integrating data with client systems to maintain accuracy and resolve inconsistencies.

The intern will analyze data to find opportunities for process improvements and suggest automation solutions to improve efficiency. Generating periodic reports on contract performance and status will also be part of the role, along with supporting communication with both internal teams and external clients regarding contract obligations. This role offers a valuable opportunity for hands-on experience in contract management and process optimization.

• Monitor Contracts: Check active contracts for compliance.
• Data Entry: Update contract information in internal systems.
• Client Interaction: Verify data in client systems.
• Data Analysis: Identify insights from contract performance metrics.
• Reporting: Create reports on contracts.
• Support Communication: Assist with contract-related inquiries.
• Documentation: Organize and maintain contract files.
• Project Work: Participate in improvement initiatives.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in data science, computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, IT, economics (with quantitative focus) or related field
• Ability to work 20-30 hours/week in a hybrid format, in person 3 days per week in person at the Viasat office during business hours
• English language (intermediate - proficient)- written and oral
• Brazilian citizenship required

Additional Requirements:

• Programming Languages: Basic knowledge of languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Database Basics: Familiarity with SQL for querying databases and understanding basic database design concepts.
• Version Control: Understanding of Git for version control and collaboration on software projects.
• Data Structures and Algorithms: Common data structures notion(arrays, lists, etc.) and algorithms.
• API Integration: Knowledge of how to get along with APIs for data retrieval and integration with other systems.
• Software Development Tools: Familiarity with development environments (e.g., Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ).
• Basic Understanding of HTML/CSS: Knowledge of web technologies for front-end tasks.
• Testing Fundamentals: Awareness of software testing principles and basic testing frameworks.
• Debugging Skills: Ability to identify and resolve simple bugs in code.
• Documentation Practices: Skills in crafting and maintaining user documentation for software projects.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze issues and propose effective solutions.

• Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team environment.

• Communication: Clear and concise communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Adaptability: Flexibility to learn new technologies and adjust to changing project requirements.
