What you'll do

***12 month FTC***

To work closely with partners across the business supporting all sectors to manage the creation, delivery, and continual improvement of the Product Management Programs (launch, in flight and end of life) ensuring appropriate, easily accessible and centrally stored content that supports the customer journey at every stage. You will be a natural ambassador of the Sales Enablement program, ensuring the Sales functions are best equipped to maximise their sales opportunities and ensure we are ‘sales ready’ for all product launches.


The day-to-day

  • Supports product launches by preparing and enabling the sales team to understand and sell our solutions
  • Work with all areas to embed a sales ready process into the product development process. Ensuring the team have access to sales stage appropriate, easily accessible, centrally stored content (Seismic)
  • To administer and support timely, accurate, appropriate sales content which supports all sales stages in our strategic sales enablement platform (Seismic)
  • Sales Enablement cover all of Viasat’s sectors ensuring a standardised approach whilst maintain a centre of excellence
  • Coordinate meetings, communications, and virtual sessions for the global sales organisation
  • To create and support a high performing sales team with a culture of constant learning to stay on top of new market developments, methodologies and trends. Assisting with the provision of sales skills training and coaching.
  • Responsible for tracking and analysis of sales content usage to ensure we have appropriate content to support the customer journey and work with our Marketing colleagues to shape future campaigns based on our insights/analysis
  • Manages various sales enablement projects and coordinates sales enablement activities
  • Establish the One Viasat sales team mentality through shared standardised programs and processes ensuring a clear strategy that underpins fully the company direction and objectives
  • Interlocking with key teams within the business to promote standard process, demonstrate sales methodologies and discuss technologies with confidence to explain when and how they should be utilised
  • Exceptional communication skills. It is vital for the enablement manager to possess deeply acute skills as a listener, speaker, writer, and presenter

What you'll need

  • Solid experience in a Sales Enablement role
  • Experience of Seismic and Salesforce
  • Confident at delivering sales training across the business
  • Highly organized and skilled at project management
  • Experience of applying continuous improvement methodologies and processes
  • Capability to build relationships at all levels
  • Proven experience of collaborating across dispersed and matrixed teams
  • Able to identify and prioritise actions that will ensure the greatest return for the organisation
  • Strong analytical skills to maximise available data, metrics, and trends to find opportunities to improve the sales process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Commercially savvy – intuitive about the market and quick to feedback relevant customer/end user feedback to the sales team
  • Ability to remain calm and focused, particularly when under pressure working to tight timelines
  • An ability to discuss standard processes, explain methodologies and discuss technologies with confidence and an eye on how they can or should be used.
  • Experience of working matrixed corporate environment with multiple internal customers and sponsors
  • Proven ability to collaborate, influence and effectively manage cross-functional teams charged with launching new products and diverse sales initiatives
  • Strong consulting/ partnering skills. Proven track record of partnering with senior business leaders to understand needs and deliver solutions that meet expectations

What will help you on the job

  • Previous experience of working in a technology setting
  • Previous experience of running sales briefing sessions and sales skills workshops
  • Experience with sales training content design and B2B selling
