To put our secure products and solutions into the hands of customers worldwide, we are currently looking for someone to be the vital cog that enables us to smartly and efficiently expand our market share in the US Department of Defense and US Federal Government as well as International Government markets. The ideal candidate will have confirmed experience leading direct sales account activities, customer service, program and product management including budgets and schedules, production operations scheduling and prioritization, as well as a proven track record to work with sales supporting organizations to include business unit management, Contracts, legal, People and Culture, and marketing. The Sales Program Manager Director will be adept at working with the entire business development and sales team in analyzing current market conditions, forecasting future market characteristics, and developing strategic plans to grow smartly and efficiently. Success in this role includes forward thinking, creative, proactive, demanding and curious key member of our sales team and will be tasked with owning the BD and Sales internal activities. This level of foresight and meticulous, data driven execution is what will bring our company to the next level.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Support the Account Team by understanding their current focus and unmet needs and developing and driving programs to meet those needs
  • Support Account Executives in the management of key strategic accounts in order to ensure these high value accounts are retained long-term
  • Work within the sales, business development, marketing, and management teams as well as other internal teams to develop and implement strategic and, in some cases, tactical plans to enable the organization to grow to meet the rapidly increasing product sales associated with new product introduction and market share growth
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our existing products and service offerings to develop both differentiating upgrade plans as well as plans for new product entries to meet market forecasts
  • Stay current with industry practices
  • Be data driven when analyzing current processes and ways to achieve efficiencies

The day-to-day

  • Support business and sales territory plan development
  • Lead the BD and Sales programmatic budgets, the research and creation of new sales tools as needed and the execution of sales initiatives
  • Work with production operations to lead/coordinate the prioritization of deliveries to meet operational requirements
  • Lead sales team asset creation, tracking, restoration, and results (loaners, mock-ups, demo units, table-top materials, data sheets, show kits, etc.)
  • Work with product support and engineering to own the resolution of field issues, providing status and the messaging to the end customer community
  • Trusted advisor to our business development, sales and product business organizations
  • Find and fix sales process weaknesses
  • Meet regularly with other team members to discuss progress and find new ways to improve the business
  • Compile and analyze data to identify trends

What you'll need

  • This position is a US Government sales position. US Citizenship required
  • A minimum of a US Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 15+ years professional experience in a sales or customer service role
  • Experience using or selling communications or networking equipment
  • Ability to multitask and deliver on several responsibilities simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal (presentations/briefings) interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solver with an appetite for analytics, but can go beyond the numbers to articulate insights and operationalize them
  • Proficiency with CRM software and an interest in learning new systems
  • Ability to travel (domestically and internationally) as needed up to 75%
  • Location is flexible

What will help you on the job

  • Top Secret Clearance
  • Master's degree in business (MBA) or related field
  • Proficiency with common customer success and customer relationship management software, such as Microsoft CRM or Salesforce
  • Professional certification in related field (i.e. CISSP)

Salary range

$131,100.00 - $227,900.00 / annually
