What you'll do
As a Software Engineer Intern you will perform full-cycle software development work as a member of a team on various projects. The work of this team focuses on developing and supporting a Satellite ground station monitoring and control system. An ideal candidate will have the knowledge and desire to support work the design, implementation, integration, and test of application software.
The day-to-day
- Developing new software features for our Monitor and Control systems
- Automating testing of our Monitor and Control systems
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related subject area
Hands-on development experience with Python, and/or Javascript
- Ability to commit to a 10-12 week internship

US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required
What will help you on the job
Experience with distributed application development
Knowledge of virtualization and experience with virtualization tools highly desired
Continuous Integration & development (CI/CD) experience
Working knowledge using Ansible playbook based SW/system deployment
Experience with Monitoring & Control of sensors and devices
Salary range
$21 - $66 / hourly
