Revolution Space is currently seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst. The role involves financial planning and analysis, cash flow management, reporting, risk oversight, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. You would work closely with senior stakeholders to align financial direction with business objectives and long-term expansion plans.

This role is onsite in Boston, MA. Relocation assistance is not being provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead/support the financial forecasting of revenue, EBITDA, cash flow, working capital, backlog, DSO, and other financial metrics on a recurring basis, including monthly actual analysis, fiscal year projections, and the yearly AOP and multi-year strategic plan.
  • Support key weekly, monthly and quarterly analysis and reporting deliverables that track and communicate the performance of the business’ key metrics.
  • Collaborate with management enterprise-wide to create forward looking financial projections for cash and backlog and provide accompanying analysis.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analyses and special projects, responding to evolving business needs with speed and accuracy.
  • Perform multiple financial cost analysis functions, including cost allocation, setting up cost control systems, collecting data, controlling costs and preparing reports that maintain the company's cost accounting system.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to understand and forecast pipeline, book to bill and backlog metrics.
  • Support long-term strategic planning, including process development, presentation creation, and partnering between finance and strategy.

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or related field & a minimum of 7 years relevant Finance experience; OR an Advanced degree and a minimum of 5 years relevant Finance experience.
  • Meaningful and relevant FP&A experience supporting a U.S. Government Contractor.
  • Experience supporting or building Annual Operating Plans and multi-year financial models.
  • Expertise in quantitative analysis and presentation
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial information in support of the enterprise.
  • Experience with multiple ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exposure to government contracting and compliance requirements (FAR/DFARS, CAS, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strategic thinker who sees patterns across data sets, connect dots between operational and financial performance, and provide insights that change decisions.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude, willing to take on challenges. You're comfortable with ambiguity, can build something from nothing, and don't need perfect data to provide valuable analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Advanced Excel skills (familiarity with Power Query)
  • Familiarity with modern BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
