Position Summary:
Revolution Space is looking for a dynamic and growth-oriented Sr. Inventory Control Analyst to maintain accurate records of materials and parts, verify physical counts, manage obsolete inventory, and ensure traceability of sensitive hardware. This role involves daily inventory transactions, system updates, cross-functional communication with engineering, procurement, and quality teams, and the creation of reports on key performance indicators to drive efficiency and support the unique requirements of space/aerospace industry material handling.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures for the organization.
- Analyze inventory data, identify inefficiencies, and design optimized workflows.
- Lead and execute cycle count programs, physical inventory audits, and other processes to ensure high inventory accuracy for parts, raw materials, and assemblies.
- Perform in-depth analysis of inventory data to identify discrepancies, track key performance indicators, and identify trends in inventory movement.
- Develop and present actionable reports to management on inventory levels, turns, and cost-reduction opportunities.
- ·Investigate and resolve inventory issues, such as stock discrepancies, system variances, and transaction errors by performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement of inventory control processes and tools.
- Champion initiatives to enhance data integrity, operational efficiency, and overall inventory management procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inventory issues, interfacing with internal departments including procurement, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and finance.
- Ensure the timely and accurate flow of materials for production needs, including handling hardware returns and managing shelf-life-controlled stock.
- Ensure all inventory control activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and compliance standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Education: A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in inventory control, inventory management, or inventory analyst role within a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with a small to medium size organization within the space or aerospace industries is a plus
- Experience in inventory management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is essential
Knowledge:
- Knowledge and understanding of inventory control methods and tools
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards

Benefits/Compensation:
- For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $85,000 to $115,000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors.
