About The Role

As a Lead Avionics Engineer, you will have complete ownership over the design of all electronics on our first spacecraft. The ideal candidate will have experience working on spacecraft.


Own satellite avionics system-level design & interfaces and make system-level trades.
Prototype, design, bring up and validate flight computers, communication systems, and electronics for power systems and ADCS.
Establish best practices and tooling for electrical engineering design
Develop in-house avionics test infrastructure – flatsat, GPS sim, power sim, comms sim, etc.
Design and execute avionics validation plans

Ideal Qualifications

You’ve designed and validated circuit boards for the space environment.
You’ve owned multiple high-reliability electronics designs from concept to deployment
You can succeed with a high level of autonomy, and collaborate gladly.
You’ve iterated on requirements and architecture to achieve an optimal design in a highly constrained trade space.


Experience with RF and power electronics.
