Ensure the accurate recording, control, and analysis of the company's revenue transactions, in compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies. The role supports the monthly closing process and the preparation of financial reports related to revenue.As part of Rappi, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
Record and analyze revenue-related transactions in the accounting system. Ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with accounting policies and applicable standards (IFRS / GAAP). Perform monthly reconciliations of revenue accounts, accounts receivable, and related balances. Analyze revenue fluctuations compared to prior periods and budget forecasts. Prepare supporting documentation and working papers for the monthly financial close. Validate the accuracy of billing processes and revenue recording. Assist in preparing financial reports and revenue analysis for management. Coordinate with operational and commercial teams to ensure proper identification and accounting of revenue transactions. Support internal and external audit requests related to revenue. Ensure compliance with tax obligations associated with revenue, such as VAT or other applicable taxes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related fields.
- 4–6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, analytics, or data roles.
- Preferred background in large organizations, multinational companies, or tech-enabled businesses, such as:
- Marketplaces
- Delivery / Logistics
- Super Apps
- E-commerce
- Fintech
- Strong knowledge of IFRS (revenue recognition, IFRS 9 if applicable).
- Solid experience in monthly close and financial analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboard design).
- Exposure to Big Data environments (data warehouses, cloud platforms, large-scale datasets).
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
