Design, develop, and optimize operational and financial models for logistics networks and distribution centers. The objective is to support strategic decision-making in expansion, consolidation, relocation, or redesign of the logistics network, ensuring operational efficiency and economic viability.

As part of Rappi, you will be responsible for:

  • Model logistics networks considering operational variables (transport, warehousing, material handling, lead times, capacities).

  • Build financial models that project capital expenditure (CAPEX), operational expenditure (OPEX), profitability, ROI, and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) of logistical alternatives.

  • Evaluate scenarios for the location and sizing of distribution centers (Greenfield, Brownfield, or re-engineering).

  • Develop optimization models for transportation flows, inventory levels, and route design.

  • Analyze financial impacts of logistics decisions: service rates, transportation costs, warehousing costs, inventory, and penalties.

  • Collaborate with finance, commercial, and operational areas to align assumptions and validate scenarios.

  • Prepare executive reports with insights, sensitivity analysis, and data-driven recommendations.

  • Document assumptions, methodologies, and results of the mode

Good and now, what are the requirements for me to be part of this neon universe?

  • Mathematical modeling applied to logistics (linear programming, integer programming, heuristics).

  • Proficiency in logistics network modeling software (e.g., Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru, AnyLogistix, Coupa, AIMMS, or equivalent).

  • Data analysis tools: SQL, Python, R, Power BI or Tableau.

  • Financial modeling: development of financial projections, discounted cash flow models, sensitivity analysis, CAPEX/OPEX.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and simulation tools.

  • Knowledge of distribution center management, logistics operations, and transportation
