What this role is about:
As an Associate Regional Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in expanding our reach within the Tier 3 market. You will focus on building relationships with Emergency Communications Centers (ECCs) and introducing them to the power of RapidSOS solutions. You will be responsible for a defined territory and will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a passion for sales and a desire to make a difference in public safety.
What you’ll do:
- Drive the complete sales lifecycle: from initial prospecting and thorough needs analysis, through compelling proposal development, culminating in successful deal closures
- Proactively identify and qualify potential Emergency Communications Center (ECC) customers within your assigned territory, specifically focusing on the large network of T3 agencies.
- Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to engage these agencies and introduce them to RapidSOS solutions
- Deliver impactful sales presentations and product demonstrations: highlighting the unique value proposition of RapidSOS solutions to key decision-makers
- Cultivate and strengthen enduring relationships: with ECC decision-makers, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor and partner
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding and implementation of RapidSOS solutions.
- Consistently achieve and exceed: quarterly and annual sales targets, contributing significantly to RapidSOS's market growth
- Act as a key representative: for RapidSOS at regional industry events and conferences, enhancing brand visibility and fostering valuable connections.
What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:
- 5+ years of proven success in Public Safety/Government sales, preferably in technology or a related field.
- Experience selling to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) or government agencies is a plus.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the sales process: utilizing MEDDPICC to effectively manage and close deals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Passion for RapidSOS's mission and a desire to make a positive impact.
Nice-to-have experience (but not required!):
- Experience selling into local and state governments, specifically within public safety or similar agencies.

Starting pay for a successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include experience, relevant skills, training, education, location, business needs, or market demands. The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000. This role will also be eligible to receive equity options, bonus, and commission.
