The Role:

We are seeking a Production Support Electrical Engineer for the first shift, Monday – Friday from 7am to 4pm. This position will support production to resolve issues and keep the hardware builds moving forward. The ability to make a quick assessment of a problem, identify additional information required, understand the resources available, compare the urgency of the issue to other failures/issues, and to take the understanding of these parts and create a path for troubleshoot and/or correction and final resolution. Then it is required to be able to communicate this plan to a cross functional team with diverse backgrounds. And lastly to continue to drive updates and status of this plan along the way.

Location: Tucson, AZ (onsite)
Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required; Secret clearance (active or obtainable) Strong Preference for Active Clearance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve production and supplier issues, including troubleshooting and coordinating corrective actions Change documentation preparation and presentation
  • Maintain and update technical drawings and documentation, including preparing change packages for review boards
  • Diagnose hardware failures using a range of electronic test equipment and analysis tools
  • Evaluate defects and yield data to drive process improvements and reduce recurring failures
  • Collaborate with suppliers, create Statements of Work, and support general electrical engineering activities in production environments

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5-10 years prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with digital, analog, RF and/or mixed signal testing and/or debugging complex circuit card assemblies and/or electro-mechanical systems
  • Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, power supplies, etc.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and BoMs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting production engineering activities involving electrical or mechanical hardware
  • Background in designing electronic or electro optical subsystems, including circuit design, assembly processes, and fabrication practices
  • Familiarity with engineering and analysis tools across electrical design, simulation, and measurement domains
  • Experience with subsystem integration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to work independently or within small teams while providing technical guidance, coordination, and project oversight

Full compensation package is based on candidate experience and certifications
