Due to the nature of this role all candidates must be US Citizen or Person and be able to work onsite in the Dallas- Forth Worth area.

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated System Integration Test (SIT) Engineer to support the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of the Future Long Range Attack Aircraft (FLRAA) program. This position will be embedded within our Client’s System Integration Lab (SIL) environment, providing hands-on support for test requirement validation, test procedure development, test script authoring, regression testing, and formal verification of over 500 Avionics requirements.

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Developing and executing manual and scripted test procedures using C# in Visual Studio Code.
  • Supporting formal test execution and regression efforts across assigned avionics subsystems.
  • Validating requirements for testability and traceability using tools such as IBM DOORS and Cameo.
  • Collaborating with Bell IPTs to review Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Subsystem Specifications (SSS), and Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDD).
  • Contributing to test report generation and supporting post-test data analysis.
  • Performing root cause analysis and issue tracking through Azure DevOps and Dimensions CM.
  • Providing subsystem expertise (e.g., APU, AVIS, Fuel, ECS, Drive Systems, Aerial Navigation) and serve as a technical point of contact.
  • Assisting in the preparation of inputs for SIT Test Plans and test automation opportunities.
  • Maintaining test artifacts, traceability metrics, and documentation aligned with Bell's internal processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in aerospace systems integration and test.
  • Proficiency in C# scripting and Visual Studio Code.
  • Familiarity with avionics systems and their operational behavior.
  • Experience with requirements-based testing aligned to DO-178 objectives (awareness of compliance framework).
  • Strong understanding of verification traceability (e.g., HLR to LLR to Test Case).
  • Hands-on experience with IBM DOORS, Azure DevOps, and configuration management tools.
  • Ability to analyze test results, document discrepancies, and suggest corrective actions.
  • U.S. Person status required; U.S. Citizenship may be required for long-term lab access.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting Bell or other military rotorcraft programs.
  • Background in subsystems such as navigation, propulsion, or flight control systems.
  • Familiarity with image/pattern recognition or AI-assisted testing tools.
  • Knowledge of DO-178C, MIL-STD-882, or similar aviation standards.

Full compensation package is based on candidate experience and certifications

Pay Ranges
$125,000$140,000 USD
