Job Description
Reporting directly to the Production Manager or to the Repair Station Manager, you will be responsible for all activities of one or more repair production lines. In this scope, you will manage a repair production team with the support of one or more Lead Repair Technician(s). You will also manage the Certification / Return to service activity.
Your objectives and Missions:
• Manage your team with the aim of meeting objectives for safety, quality, costs and delivery, in line with customer requirements and SAO strategy
• Improve performance within your expanded scope of responsibility
• Ensure that multidisciplinary teams capitalize on experience and move up the skills chain. Develop versatility,
autonomy, cross-functional applicability and innovation, in line with the Safran Together model
• Providing a vision and uniting the teams around the entity's challenges.
• Ensuring that competencies and resources are maintained at the highest level within the expanded scope.
• Ensuring the accessibility and quality of data in the sector.
• Guaranteeing the use of and compliance with referential.
• Ensuring compliance of all production, processes and the correct application of all directives (Part 145 regulations, HSE, etc.)
• Keeping up to date and documentation and procedures relative to your scope
• Ensuring the required transformations and change management in line with CSS global requirements
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Manage the employees within the Production Line team:
• Managing a team of Repair Technicians , Leads & dedicated certifying staff when applicable
• Guaranteeing a safe environment of work and lead any necessary actions to ensure safety of your team
• Organising your teams in a way that promotes multidisciplinary contributions, autonomy, accountability, and cross-functionality with the aim of being agile and adaptable to operational contingencies and (internal and external) customer's needs.
• Managing workload-capacity balance In coordination with the production manager
• Expressing resource and competency needs for the optimal operation of the department.
• Allocating workload based on need & managing priorities within the department.
• Managing HR Processes: hiring/on boarding/training, PDR… of the Team.
• Managing the competency development of each team member
• Identifying training needs, defining training initiatives to ensure the development of the team, and contributing to employee career management.
• Maintaining a good social climate within and with your team
• Promoting a team operation in accordance with the values of the Safran Together Model
• Promoting innovation and support innovative initiative
