Electrical Integration Engineer
Job Description
Primary accountability:
Responsible for delivering Electrical Harness Integration outputs in alignment with Engineering QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments.
Job Requirements
Key Contributions:
• Project Process Compliance:
Implements and upholds Train Design development procedures across assigned scopes.
• Design & Integration Scope:
• Cable trays/ducts design and mounting definitions
• Electrical harness routing based on Fil-à-Fil, synoptique, connectors, and device lists
• Wire bundling classification (HV/LV)
• Equipment mounting definitions (Cubicle, Bogie, Underframe)
• Jumper cable and earthing/grounding design
• Complete cubicle harness routing including brackets, structure, fastening, welding, etc.
• Equipment positioning and interface development
• Exporting flattened harness lengths for manufacturing
• Linking XML schematic data to CATIA V5 wiring/bundle via NEO
• 2D drawings for parts, assemblies, and installation
Work Package Leadership:
• Leads and consolidates project-specific work packages
• Conducts regular work package reviews
• Performs risk assessments and defines mitigation plans
• Reports QCD performance and risks to Train Design Engineer
Cross-Functional Support:
• Assists in establishing certification and validation plans
• Organizes system design/testing support activities
• Coordinates Design and Verification Reviews, including formal documentation
• Handles technical solution oversight and gap resolution aligned with métier guidelines
Quality & Industrial Support:
• Ensures conformity of Electrical Integration deliverables with project specifications
• Provides continuous support to industrialization and manufacturing during ramp-up
