Job Description
The Planning Manager is responsible for ensuring that all planning functions—from material requirements to master production scheduling—align with business objectives, program timelines, and regulatory requirements.
This leadership role requires close coordination with cross-functional departments including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and quality to ensure efficient and timely execution of aerospace programs, while maintaining high levels of operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.
Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
Experience:
7+ years of planning experience in aerospace, defense, or a complex manufacturing environment, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Demonstrated success managing production and materials planning in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Deltek, or similar).
