This position contributes to our vision by:
• Create and maintain training modules including testing materials; maintain training database
• Responsible for the documentation and materials that will be used during the training based on customer requirement
• Lead training classes
• Provide theoretical explanation for each process and also perform physical demonstration.
• Validate results from tests (written and samples) and award certification
• Provide notification for upcoming recertification for all employees requiring certification or qualification
• Responsible for the control and issuance of stamps
• Participate in the Corrective Action Board (CAB)
• Perform root cause analysis
• Based on work load the Quality Specialist may be trained and perform as an inspector; inspect wiring harness assembly for compliance requirements
• Document non conformances and validates subsequent rework
• Work closely with the Quality Supervisor and inspection team
• Internal audit activities
• Assist in training other Quality Specialists when needed

Job Requirements

Education and/or Experience
Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Bachelor's degree (preferred)
2-4 years' experience in technical training required or combination of training and education
2-3 years in a quality function, and inspection in a manufacturing environment required
Knowledge/Skills
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills (Advanced)
Demonstrated teaching skills (Advanced)
Experience with Microsoft, Excel and PowerPoint is required (Advanced)
Organizational skills (Advanced)
Ability to work with limited supervision
