Job Description
Perform Lab Tests: Conduct chemical experiments and analyses according to established protocols to support research, development, and production.
Sample Preparation: Prepare chemical samples and reagents for analysis and testing.
Quality Testing: Conduct routine quality control tests on raw materials and finished products to verify compliance with company and industry specifications.
Data Analysis: Analyze test data and draw conclusions to help guide future research or production decisions.
Data Collection: Record accurate data from experiments and tests, ensuring detailed documentation for future reference and regulatory compliance.
Reporting: Prepare detailed reports summarizing experimental findings, maintenance activities, and any deviations or issues that require attention.
Routine Maintenance: Regularly inspect, clean, and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure proper functioning and accuracy in testing.
Equipment Management: Ensure laboratory instruments are stored properly, maintained, and ready for use to minimize disruptions.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with lab equipment or processes to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
Problem-Solving: Identify deviations in quality or processes and work with the team to develop corrective actions to maintain production standards.
Safety Protocols: Adhere to established safety guidelines for the handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and hazardous materials.
Safety Equipment: Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain safe lab conditions to minimize risks of accidents.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all lab activities comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Chemistry or a related field.
Experience with quality control and assurance processes.
Familiarity with industry regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
Strong data analysis skills, including proficiency in statistical software.
Strong understanding of chemical properties and laboratory safety procedures.
Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and analytical tools.
