This position will act as a problem solver where the primary initiative is to resolve customer technical inquiries. Working closely with the Safran Services Engineering team, they will support component redesign initiatives to improve product robustness based on product performance in service. They will draft various documents including engineering change notices, test plans and test reports. The position will require interfacing with multiple departments to achieve the expeditious resolution of daily challenges.
Job Requirements
1. Proactively investigates the opportunities for product improvements based on reports from service and implements improvements to various documentation including drawings and maintenance manuals.
2. Reacts quickly to daily challenges/questions presented by internal and external customers.
3. Generates test plans, reports and analysis in support of service difficulty reports.
4. Generates change notices, Technical Concurrence Notifications and related Engineering documentation.
5. Supports scheduled visits to airline customers.
6. Act as a problem solver to identify root cause and recommend corrective actions.
7. Other duties as assigned.
