Job Description
The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing local and international suppliers for both new and existing products. His/her mission is to develop and manage the supply base related to a given scope of purchasing commodities. Main assignments include supplier's selection, commercial terms negotiation and cost reduction projects. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, quality, and program management teams to support product development, cost optimization, and supply chain efficiency.
Job Requirements
The sourcing engineering shall have the following qualification(s):
4.1 master's degree in mechanical, Industrial, Supply Chain, Materials Engineering, or a related field
4.2 Strong negotiation skills with proven results
4.3 Fluent in English, both spoken and written
4.4 Ability to perform effectively under pressure with autonomy and limited supervision
4.5 Solid project management and problem-solving capabilities
4.6 Skilled in data analysis and interpretation of reports
4.7 Proficient in report creation, progress tracking, and KPI monitoring
4.8 First experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the aviation industry
4.9 Background in purchasing and engineering, with strong technical and commercial knowledge
4.10 Familiarity with information systems such as LN or other ERP platforms
4.11 Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
4.12 Proactive and positive “can-do” attitude
4.13 Ability to lead cross-functional projects, coordinate resources, and anticipate risks
4.14 High level of integrity and a proactive mindset
4.15 Strong business orientation with advanced negotiation skills
