Job Description
Responsible for complete and accurate processing of vendor invoices for payment.
Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.
1. Match invoice to receipt, verifying accuracy of invoice and receipt/purchase order.
2. Key invoice on PC, verifying match on-line system for accuracy and checking input to "open" status.
3. Match checks to invoice, verifying invoice number, amount and address on check to invoice details.
4. Resolve invoice/receiver discrepancy by conferring with Purchasing, Receiving and other departments.
5. Perform other Accounts Payable duties as assigned to include, but not limited to, back-up to Senior Accounting Clerk, mail, copying, process credit memos, and special projects.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Education -
Required - High School graduate or equivalent
Preferred - 2 year Business/Accounting Degree
Experience -
Required - Two years Accounts Payable experience and general office experience
Preferred - Three plus years Accounts Payable and general office experience in a fast-paced environment
Special Knowledge/Skills -
Required - Basic business procedures and accounting. Use of a PC and calculator.
Preferred - Working knowledge of Accounts Payable. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
