We are seeking an experienced and strategic Applications Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team of solution architects and engineers focused on delivering innovative, reliable, and scalable solutions. This leadership role requires strong technical expertise, people management skills, and a customer-focused mindset to ensure seamless integration of our technologies into client systems and workflows.

Job Requirements

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of applications engineers, fostering growth in both technical and soft skills.
• Establish clear goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and promote a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Manage application engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and technical quality.
• Oversee solution design, prototyping, validation, and customer deployment in coordination with product and engineering teams.
• Ensure best practices in pre-sales support, RFQ/RFP support, product demonstrations, product training (internal and external), 2nd tier product technical support, product requirements development and reviews, trade show support, and conference/webinar presentations.

• Partner with product management, sales, support, and core engineering to define application requirements and customer needs.
• Lead the proposal preparation and contribute to the financial estimate together with Sales and R&D
• Serve as a technical liaison with customers and internal stakeholders, translating business requirements into functional solutions.
• Provide insights and feedback to influence product roadmap and feature development.
• Work directly with clients to understand their environment and recommend integration strategies.
• Support pre-sales activities, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and post-deployment technical troubleshooting as needed.
• Advocate for the voice of the customer within engineering and product roadmap discussions.
• Seen as a respected technical expert for assigned Business line and is expected to work closely with current and prospective customers.
