Job Description

The Site Head of operations assists the General Manager with the overall management of the manufacturing site and industrial activities. He/She helps implement the necessary conditions to ensure production activities and deliveries, involving partners as needed. He/She coordinates shared industrial services and transversal functions. He/She is responsible for supporting the performance of SQDCPI and the improvement dynamics. Additionally, he/she acts as the deputy manager of the establishment.

Supervision & Leadership
• Ensures the health and safety of employees and compliance with related standards, rules, and regulations, including environmental ones.
• Ensures the implementation of Safran group rules, procedures, and policies, including those related to CSR.
• Assists in the preparation of budgets and PMTs, and ensures adherence to them.
• Participates in the site's management committee and QRQC 3.
• Works to ensure an efficient organization of the site.
• Interacts as needed with all internal stakeholders (support and functional departments) and external stakeholders (clients during visits, authorities, partners, suppliers, etc.).
• Manages local networks, relations to administration and Safran Electronics & Defense locally
• Develops teams and skills with the management committee.
• Manages Production Units, site supply chain, security, general means, maintenance, continuous improvement, and other activities of his entity.
• In coordination with Human Resources, ensures social relations, presides over the CSE and CSSCT, and works to maintain a positive social climate.
• Engages teams by relying on Safran's leadership model. Promotes the site's image and highlights successes and achievements.

Industrialization
• Guarantees the necessary production rate increases in close collaboration with the Engineering teams.

Manufacturing
• Organizes manufacturing and ensures the achievement of production objectives and deliveries.
• Supervises specific plans required to meet customer demand.
• Escalates any blocking issues, particularly through QRQC.

Industrial Performance
• Ensures the implementation of cycle and work-in-progress improvement plans.
• Ensures the overall load/capacity adequacy of the factory and leads the necessary plans.
• Guarantees the overall performance of the site and leads the necessary action plans.
• Reports on operational results of the site during performance reviews and site reviews.

Continuous Improvement
• Is responsible for building the improvement plan, continuous improvement, and One Safran operational excellence with the aim of competitiveness.

Job Requirements

• Operational experience in production and with the main processes implemented on the site.
• Confirmed experience in managing large teams.
• Ability to handle crisis situations.
• Analytical approach and sense of priorities.
• Mastery of financial elements.
• Written and oral communication skills and aptitude for representation.
• Results-oriented.
• Strong leadership and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Strong knowledge of local culture, local relations for manufacturing activities
