Job Description

The product engineer manages her/his assigned products in a production environment in order to achieve the global robustness of its production line.

He is the Key customer/CoE interface, responsible for coordination of technical issues, deliveries, quality and cost.
Owner of the product KPI's, he is able to calculate, evaluate and ensure correct measurement and tracking of each KPI on any topic related to the product assigned.
Support Production, Quality and Engineering to resolve non-conforming product issues and concerns on a daily basis, by ensuring that proper problem solving methodologies are applied and by leading the necessary projects to improve reactivity to in-process events.
Use statistical methods to evaluate current manufacturing capabilities of the product and to estimate future manufacturing requirements

The Product Engineer will be responsible for supporting production activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of problem-solving tools such as RPO and 8D, and be capable of leading a multidisciplinary team to quickly resolve operational issues within their product range.

Additionally, the Product Engineer will provide field insights to the Senior Product Engineer to ensure that the mid-term strategy is both achievable and aligned with the company's overall objectives. They will altogether communicate internal directions aimed at meeting customer requirements, including targets related to yield, first-time yield, deliveries, and cost efficiency.
