Job Description

This role will provide support to the R&D team at Burnley, involved in scaling up development of resin infusion technology for the manufacture of aerospace carbon fibre composite components.
The role will provide support for both R&D Manufacturing and NDT teams.

The successful candidate will be required to:

- Develop an understanding of the context of the project and any unresolved issues
- Define a plan to address outstanding issues in the manufacturing process
- Be able to present the development plan to the rest of the team and to experts for validation
- Execute a plan in a timely manner
- Be able to track progress and keep pushing to get things done
- Be able to communicate to stakeholders and ensure relevant information is circulated
- Report writing: Review and collate results, providing a summary of conclusions and key recommendations.
- Suggest next steps based on previous results.
- Close any actions once quality requirements have been met

Ready to take off ?

Are you preparing (or already have) a master's degree in engineering or a technical field ?

Do you have initial experience with CATIA and feel comfortable in an industrial environment ?

Do you enjoy hands-on work and tackling technical challenges ?

Are you fluent in English and ready to work in an international environment ?

A plus if you're proficient in composite materials or project tools such as 8D problem solving and PFMEA risk management !
