Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Director of MRO, the MRO Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the overall performance and compliance of a portfolio of suppliers and vendors to ensure on-time deliveries to our customers. They will also be responsible for ensuring the quality of the external product to ultimately uphold the necessary quality standards for the supply base that supports the MRO in Toronto.

Job Requirements

• Manage the execution of procurement activities within the MRO supply chain to provide effective material and operational requirements in a timely and most cost-efficient manner.
• Liaise with the different stakeholders such as logistics partners, suppliers, OE Supply Chain Management and Customer Service to resolve parts/spares shortages and related issues.
• Manage supply base to ensure cost improvement and supply efficiency.
• Follow delivery performance to ensure closely monitored TAT.
• Review daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly performance results to identify trends and opportunities to take corrective and continuous improvement actions and spot delivery problems before they happen.
• Update management on performance of supply chain operations, improvement programs, new initiatives through appropriate management reports.
• Ensure compliance and help to facilitate on-site audits of suppliers.
• Develop yearly surveillance and re-certification plans of suppliers / approved vendors for MRO.
• Ensure timely and effective investigation and closure of all found non-conformances or letters of disclosure (Using 8D methodology, root cause corrective action and failure analysis reports) with suppliers.
• Report monthly on external non-quality events and the associated root cause / corrective action plans to prevent re-occurrence.
• Accountable for achieving the Supplier OTD & OQD and Monitoring Plan objectives.
• Accountable for supplier approval and monitoring process, to include evaluating suppliers during the selection process, reviewing supplier risk, and defining monitoring plans.

• Establish an industrial risk analysis and associate monitoring plan for the supply chain.
• Develop the team and suppliers in Safran tools and techniques
• Lead resolution of MRO technical events and/or customer escapes generated from suppliers.
• Perform supplier performance reviews.
• Escalate and interact with senior management at suppliers in order to ensure deliverables are provided when required.
• Develop positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
