VIE - Mechanical Integration and Design Engineer (m/f/d)
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• 70% Design and Integration of Helicopter mechanical and electrical systems in CATIA V5 and CAD data management in Enovia VPM
• 20% Creation of Partlist (BOM) and release management in SAP
• 10% Support customers (various Airbus Helicopters departments) queries and problem solving
Job Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Mechanical Engineering degree or similar qualification
• Knowledge or experience in Mechanical system design
• Aeronautic environment knowledge
• Aeronautic Standards knowledge (DO-160, CS-29,…)
• CAD-tools: CATIA V5 (or equivalent), Enovia VPM (or equivalent)
• SAP for creation of Parts List (BoM) and release management
• Creation of technical drawings and how to read them
• Fluent in English, German knowledge is a plus
• Project management and reactivity to answer to customer questions
• Mobility (Germany-Donauwörth)

MAIN ACTIVITIES:
• Design and integration of Helicopter mechanical and electrical systems in CATIA V5
• Design of brackets (sheet metal and/or milled parts) for new installations
• Creation of 3D data and 2D drawings (Single Part / Sub-assembly / Installation drawings)
• Creation of parts list or BoM (Bill of Material)
• CAD data management in Enovia VPM and release management in SAP
• Evaluating and proposing solutions for technical problems
• Review of supplier documents/datasheets
• Co-ordination with different Airbus Helicopters departments (ex. Stress, Production, Vibrations, Aerodynamics, etc) for new designs and/or installations
• Support to other departments working with SES Donauwörth
