Job Summary:
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for coordinating ongoing activities and ensure workstream delivery progress on schedule. They will support cross functional and international transition efforts across Cananda, the U.S. and Mexico.
Essential Job Functions:
• Liaise across sites in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico to align transition efforts.
• TSA Execution: Work with the workstream leads to track: performance, proper invoicing, and monitor service delivery.
• Work with operations and support coordination of asset transfers, production activities follow up.
• Follow up on build-up, warehousing, and transition of buffer stock per OSA milestones.
• Synchronize planning, dependencies, and execution between functions.
• Maintain master schedule, track KPIs, and issue weekly reports and dashboards.
• Manage and escalate operational issues effectively.
• Maintain action logs, central repositories, and formal records of activities.
• Prepare materials and follow-up actions for project reviews, and steering meetings.
• Other duties may be assigned.
Job Requirements
Required Competencies:
Education/Experience
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in project management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Strong in cross-functional coordination, issue resolution, and risk management.
• Knowledge of the market

Travel Specificity:
Frequent travel between Irvine, California and other locations up to 50%
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position and occasionally move about the office. Constantly operates and use a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copier/printer. The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information. The ability to observe, identify and assess details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds across the office for various needs.
Work Environment:
The work environment is an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
Experience in relevant Business sector:
- Experience within aerospace industry a plus but not required.
