Safran Aircraft Engines designs, produces, and sells, alone or in partnership, commercial and military aircraft engines offering world-class performance. Through CFM International*, Safran Aircraft Engines is the world's leading supplier of engines for single-aisle mainline commercial jets. Safran Aerospace Composites in Rochester, NH is dedicated to the production of 3D woven composite parts, made using the RTM (resin transfer molding) process. The first application of this technology is the production of blades and fan cases for the LEAP (registered trademark) engine, developed by CFM International, designed to power the next generation of single-aisle aircraft. This technology creates less noise and decreases fuel consumption for aircraft engines, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Position Summary:
Responsible for weekly and monthly financial reporting and analysis of all the main KPIs for the company, actual vs standard variance analysis, productivity and efficiency analysis, as well as forecasting and budgeting.

This is a first shift position, Monday-Thursday, 7am-5pm

Job Requirements

Job Specifications
• Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Finance/Costing, or equivalent, with a minimum of 5+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, forecasting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
• Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems; ability to analyze financial data efficiently, accurately and with good judgement; and prepare financial reports.
• Working knowledge of product-line profitability analysis and experience with professional practices (GAAP, applicable laws, codes and regulations).
• Requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and ERP Systems – excellent Excel skills are necessary for this position.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
• *Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
• *Perform financial forecasting (budget, mid-term plan, etc.), reporting and operational metrics/KPI monitoring.
• *Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• *Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
• *Analyze financial data and use finance models for decision support.
• *Work with all departments to build the budget and 5-year plan.
• Ability to handle a lot of data (in multiple formats, mainly Excel) in an efficient way to provide an accurate summary of those data. Provide analysis on summarized data.
• Be proactive and propose improvements on existing processes.
• Learn and understand Safran procedures and rules regarding financial analysis, controlling, and accounting
• Assist the CFO in improving any cost-control related matter for the company.
• Assists in audits of company's accounts whenever appropriate.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.

The expected salary range for this position is between $85,000 - $105,000 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
