The Quality Assurance Summer Intern will support the Quality department on a variety of projects and tasks during the summer.

• Understands and promotes the Quality Management System.
• Implementation of continual improvement activities to enhance the Quality System, such as SMS, 5S, Kaizen Lean Methods, etc.
• Evaluates, analyses and report monthly KPIs on manufacturing quality performance and target opportunities for improvement (ie. Monthly Quality Barometer).
• Files, reviews and maintains the inspection documentation (ATP, checklists, FAIs, etc.), as required.
• Interface with Engineering and Production to implement continuous improvement projects

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:
• High School diploma.
• First experience.
Knowledge/Skills:
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel-Advanced

• Support Safety Management System (SMS) Project Launch
• Support Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) updates
• Create Supplier First Article Inspection (FAI) log
• Update of QA lab Testing Work Instructions
• Update Compliance matrices for Safran procedures
• Support in additional Supplier Quality Assurance activities, as required.
• Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture,
• Regular, predictable attendance is required
• Other duties may be assigned
