The Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician will have to perform daily tasks with respect to the receiving and final inspection of product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician has the following roles and responsibilities:
• Perform acceptance inspection and testing of all procured components, sub-assemblies and raw materials as required.
• Perform final inspection and acceptance of all customer spare parts orders.
• Complete all applicable forms related to the inspection process.
• Follow all documented procedures and best inspection practices.
• Understand and perform qualifications of received fabrics, materials and other supplies.
• Perform qualification tests (Flame, Tear, Radiant Heat, and Tensile) and generates test results.
• Communicate and coordinate activities and results as needed, with other facilities.
• Perform monthly calibration and ensures data recorded in calibration software.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, general business correspondence, technical procedures, procedure manuals and government regulations. Basic
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.- Basic
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. – Basic

Technical Mathematical skills:
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. – Basic
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. – Basic
