Safran Aircraft Engines has a network of civil engine maintenance workshops throughout the world and offers its customers a full range of interventions: performance restoration, replacement of parts with a limited lifespan, inspection and maintenance of the entire engine and its equipment.
The Global Engineering Department is positioned as a technical hub to support the development of the workshops of the Safran Aircraft Engines MRO network (including Mexico, France, Belgium, China, Morocco and India)
As a Repair Industrialization Pilot, within the industrial methods sector, integrated into the repair and industrialization pole, you contribute directly to the deployment and robustness of repairs on Queretaro's site and collaborate for workshops of the Safran Aircraft Engines MRO network with a permanent perspective of transversal deployment towards the partner workshops.
Travel specification:
- Not mandatory but occasional trips to workshops of the Safran Aircraft Engines MRO network around the world.
- Not mandatory but occasional trips to vendors' workshops (repair stations, test cell facilities, etc).

Complementary Description

Main Tasks:
1. Participate as an industrial representative in the development of new repairs within the multidisciplinary repair groups (GPREP) and be the focal point and coordinator for the development of industrialization between the Safran Aircraft Engines MRO network.
2. Manage the industrialization of repairs in Queretaro's site through a project team (e.g. Quality, Production, HSE, Supply Chain) and by guaranteeing the Quality, Cost and deadline objectives.
3. Provide technical support to industrializations already in place (process update and improvement, personnel training, tooling introduction, etc) and lead operational problem solving groups by guaranteeing the quality of our processes.
4. Propose and manage projects to obtain the robustness of our industrial tool and lead improvement and standardization projects for industrialization processes for the network.


Required Competences/Skills:
- Engineering Experience
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing and/or repair processes: bushings and other hardware replacement, drilling, thermal spraying, welding, shot-blasting, etc
- Observation, analysis and synthesis focus
- Project management and risk analysis skills
- Technical maintenance documentation interpretation for job orders creation
- English B2
- French B2 is a plus
- SAP general knowledge
