Job Description
This position has a dual reporting line to the local General Manager and the VP, MRO Operations based in France. The position will be responsible for all repair production line supervision activities and shall manage a team of Production Line Supervisors and the Engineering & Industrialization team. The Production Department consists of production lines run by Production Supervisors who report to you.
Your objectives and tasks:
• Managing and organising production
• Monitoring performance and optimising production
• Participating to the site's industrial strategy development in agreement with Management
• Managing human resources
• Ensuring compliance of all production and processes and the proper application of all directives (Part 145 regulations, HSE, etc.)
With initial management experience in a high-stakes industrial/technical field, you will be responsible for managing the activities and performance of the AEROSYSTEMS product repair unit.
You will be responsible for:
• Working with your teams to adapt and implement the industrial strategy of the Customer Support and Services Division, drawing on the support of cross-functional teams and the various sectors, such as Central Supply Chain, Methods, Industrial Maintenance, etc. in collaboration with the Central Operations Management.
• Guaranteeing the commitments made by your entity in terms of financial and operational results: quality (OQD), on-time delivery (OTD), costs (hourly rates), safety, and compliance.
• Managing activities and workload/capacity.
• Validating/managing budgets within your scope as well as investments.
• Implementing a continuous improvement approach to productivity and working methods (Lean Manufacturing).
• Optimising workshops implantation within your scope (sector, lines, etc.).
• Ensuring the required transformations and managing change
• Ensuring team cohesion and a good social climate using appropriate management methods and the relevant support functions.
• Ensuring compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) rules, guidelines, and Safran methodology within the scope
• Organising the teams in such a way as to encourage multidisciplinary contributions, autonomy, accountability, and cross-functionality with the aim of being agile and adaptable to operational contingencies and customer needs.
• Promoting the functioning of the teams in accordance with the leadership model principle's.
• Attending monthly & weekly management meetings, and sit in various committees as required. Work with various stakeholders to ensure smooth cooperation between departments,
• Any other tasks as assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
Technical/professional skills:

Profile
• Master or Bachelor degree in Engineering – General or Mechanical
• At least 8 to 10 years' experience in production management/industrial logistics.
• Recognised for your strong leadership skills, you want to engage and develop your team by encouraging collaborative working and challenging approaches.
• You have a good sense of organisation and are proactive.
• Your qualities include rigour, pragmatism, and perseverance.
• Comfortable with usage of IT software/systems (i.e ERP, Power BI, clocking systems, Microsoft office).
