What will you do?

As a Customs Officer, you play a key role at Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels. You ensure that our organization remains compliant with customs legislation, strategic goods regulations, and AEO certification. Your responsibilities include:
• Process Management: You coordinate and optimize all customs processes from A to Z.
• Compliance Expert: You ensure the correct application of customs legislation and oversee the timely renewal of licenses and permits.
• Networking: You proactively maintain contacts with customs authorities, government agencies, and external partners.
• Reporting: You are responsible for accurate reporting and statutory declarations.
• Team Player: You work closely with the Safran customs platform and provide support wherever necessary.

Job Requirements

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and structured professional with a passion for customs and logistics. You bring:
• A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant work experience and in-depth knowledge of customs legislation and logistics processes (road and air freight).
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch, French, and English.
• Strong IT skills, including experience with Excel.
• A diplomatic, efficient, and driven attitude.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Belgium, holding either an EU passport or a valid work & residence permit. Please note that we do not provide assistance with visa or permit applications.
