In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in receiving and issuing parts and materials to and from stock and/or point of use. Moving parts & materials thru factory by cart or walking. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Communicate with Commodity owners regarding parts status.
2. Must be able to move parts from one area to another per MO' routing.
3. Must be able to locate “Lost” parts.
4. Must be able to write reports using computer.
5. Must be able to operate forklift, electric cart, or hand truck
6. Issue MO's from a work center.
7. Must be able to perform other duties as required
Employee is expected to follow all safety regulations, keep work area in a clean and orderly condition, and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for the assigned work area(s). Performs safety related duties as assigned.
DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY
Types of Decisions
1. Employee is responsible for determining if she/he has adequate information and materials to complete tasks as directed.
2. Selection of methods and sequences within limits of the specific jobs assigned.
3. To launch or not to launch a ship set.

1. Problems with equipment or machinery.
2. Quality problems.
3. Conflicting priorities.
4. Incorrect documentation.
5. Training issues.

Types of equipment will depend on area of assignment but may include: forklift, electric cart, desktop & tablet computers and hand truck
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent required.
One to three years of related experience required – equivalent education and background may be substituted for experience in some areas.
Requires a thorough understanding of shop practices and procedures.
Must be able to read and interpret average to complex blueprints, drawings, diagrams, tolerance information, route sheets, work orders, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Employee must be able to obtain and maintain all required certifications and licenses.
