Role and Responsibilities
1. Lead support and training of SLS operations and maintenance personnel to assure thorough understanding of
operation and troubleshooting of control systems.
2. Assist in design and implementation of automation projects.
3. Modify and update industrial software applications.
4. Revision control of industrial software applications.
5. Update and improve the industrial software documentation.
6. Provide technical assistance to Operations/Maintenance.
7. Maintain and revise Functional Analysis of automated processes.
8. Support continuous improvement of automation systems.
This Automation Engineer or Engineering Specialist position will be part of the Industrial IT and Automation group in Central Engineering.
A candidate is eligible for the Automation Engineer position with a 4 year degree. The Engineering Specialist position requires a 2 year degree.

Specificity of the job
Some travel to training, supplier sites, and other Safran facilities. Typical 2 to 3 weeks a year.
