Your Team

MetaDriver is a suite of tools that combines generative AI, digital twins and simulation to accelerate machine learning and testing of self-driving technology before and during real-world use. You will join our Oxa MetaDriver Team which is responsible for delivering these technologies to both internal and external customers. It comprises a wide range of disciplines from ML and simulation, to application development, cloud engineering and data capture professionals.

Your Role

  • As part of the MetaDriver Scenario Expansion team, you will be contributing to the development of state-of-the-art scenario synthesis tools and frameworks, ensuring the generation of effective and diverse driving scenarios for validating and improving autonomous vehicles
  • Developing tools and solutions to scale and productionise Machine Learning (ML) & Simulation based frameworks
  • Developing robust APIs, command-line interfaces (CLIs), and deploying applications to the cloud
  • Contributing to the development tools and process to support the acquisition of data, visualisation of data, software-in-loop simulation and ML frameworks
  • Proposing and architecting Python systems to connect MetaDriver solutions to customer needs
  • Implementing items in the backlog relating to state-of-the-art methods, tools and acquisition of data
  • Contributing to the creation of appropriate software tools that support, amplify, and accelerate our scaling of our system for development, testing, and commercial requirements
  • Working with other teams and leads in facilitating the creation of specialist tooling and processes, supporting the use of MetaDriver across the company

What you need to succeed:

  • Strong proficiency in Python software development skills
  • Experience with Python packaging and API development
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience developing with continuous integration and testing systems
  • Experience working with ML models

Extra kudos:

  • Experience with MLOps
  • Experience with driving simulators
  • Knowledge of OpenScenario and/or OpenDrive formats
  • Experience with ML in a Research environment
  • An understanding of Reinforcement Learning
  • Familiarity with C++
