Location: Playa Vista, California (in-person, five days per week)
Outpost is building the return lane from space. We’re developing reusable vehicles that bring payloads home from orbit safely and precisely, enabling faster in-space manufacturing, global delivery, and entirely new capabilities in the space economy. Alongside return, we are advancing in-space manufacturing to expand what can be built and brought back to Earth. With U.S. government missions under contract and our first orbital flights ahead, we are focused on making space operations reliable and repeatable. The Role
As a Senior Recruiter, you'll own full-cycle recruiting across a variety of roles, from operations and finance to administrative and cross-functional positions that keep the business running. You won't be siloed into one discipline; you'll flex across departments based on where hiring needs are greatest.
We're scaling quickly and need someone who can hit the ground running, manage multiple pipelines simultaneously, and bring a modern approach to how recruiting gets done, including leveraging AI tools to work smarter and faster. You'll collaborate closely with our VP of People, senior technical recruiter, and hiring managers across the company, and your ability to operate independently while being a great teammate will matter just as much as your sourcing skills.
Responsibilities
- Own the full recruiting lifecycle across a diverse mix of non-technical and operational roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to scope requirements, build search strategies, and drive alignment throughout the process.
- Build and maintain multiple talent pipelines simultaneously, staying organized and proactive as priorities shift.
- Source and engage passive candidates through creative, multi-channel outreach.
- Use AI-powered tools and workflows to streamline sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement.
- Deliver a thoughtful, high-touch candidate experience from first outreach through offer close.
- Keep our ATS (Greenhouse) clean, accurate, and up to date.
- Collaborate with your recruiting counterpart and share best practices, including AI-driven approaches, to continuously raise the bar.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience across a range of role types (operations, finance, G&A, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of requisitions independently without sacrificing quality.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools in your recruiting workflow, whether for sourcing, outreach personalization, market research, or pipeline management.
- Familiarity with the aerospace, defense, or space industry is a plus but not required.
- Strong sourcing chops beyond LinkedIn Recruiter (Boolean, X-ray, niche platforms, etc.).
- Experience with Greenhouse or a similar ATS.
- You build trust quickly with candidates and hiring managers alike.
- You care about candidate experience and understand that how you recruit reflects the company.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

- $130,000 - $160,000 Salary may vary with experience
