We are seeking a hands-on DevOps/SRE Lead to architect, build, and operate a resilient, secure, and scalable Azure cloud platform. This role will lead the design and implementation of cloud-native infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability frameworks, and production reliability engineering practices.

The ideal candidate blends deep Azure architecture expertise, platform engineering mindset, and production reliability leadership, with strong experience in Kubernetes, GitOps, automation, and enterprise security governance.

This role is based out of our Hyderabad, India office. We operate in a hybrid work environment, requiring a minimum of three (3) days per week onsite, with the option to work remotely for up to two (2) days per week.

What You’ll Do

Cloud Platform Architecture & Reliability

Design andoperateAzure landing zones aligned with enterprise governance
Lead AKS production architecture including multi-region, HA, and zero-downtime deployments
Define SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets across digital platforms
Implement production reliability frameworks including chaos testing and resilience validation
Architect blue-green, canary, and progressive deployment strategies

Infrastructure as Code & GitOps

Build enterpriseIaCframeworks using:
Terraform / Bicep / ARM
Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions
ImplementGitOpsmodel using:
ArgoCDor Flux
Enforce immutable infrastructure patterns
Standardize reusable infrastructure modules

CI/CD & DevSecOps

Design secure multi-stage CI/CD pipelines
Implement automated:
Code quality checks
SAST / DAST
Container scanning
Dependency vulnerability scanning
Integrate Azure Key Vault and managed identities into pipelines
Enable automated rollback and deployment guardrails

Kubernetes & Container Platform Engineering

Operate andoptimize:
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Helm
Implement:
Pod security policies
Workload identity
Network policies
Build internal platform templates for developer self-service

Observability & Production Monitoring

Design enterprise observability stack using:
Azure Monitor
Log Analytics
Application Insights
Prometheus / Grafana
Define centralized logging, distributed tracing, and alerting frameworks
Lead production incident response and postmortem analysis
Build real-time dashboards for leadership visibility

Security, Governance & Compliance

Implement Azure Policy & RBAC frameworks
Design secure multi-tenant cloud architecture
Integrate:
Defender for Cloud
Conditional Access
Identity Federation
Lead SOC2 / ISO / internal audit cloud controls
Define least privilege model across subscriptions

AI-Driven Operations & Automation

Implement predictive monitoring and anomaly detection
Automate capacity scaling using telemetry insights
Integrate ML-based alert reduction and noise suppression
Enable self-healing infrastructure patterns

Leadership & Strategy

Lead DevOps and SRE engineers
Establish reliability KPIs and maturity roadmap
Collaborate with Architecture, Security, Data, and Product teams
Drive platform modernization strategy
Mentor teams on cloud native best practices

Who You Are

You’re a strategic thinker with a knack for operational excellence, ready to tackle multiple priorities with agility and grace. If you have:

10+ years in DevOps / SRE / Cloud Engineering
5+ years hands-on Azure architecture
Deepexpertisein:

Kubernetes production operations
Strong knowledge of:
Networking (VNET, Private Link, NSG, Load Balancer, App Gateway)
