With a flexible hybrid work schedule, collaborating onsite at our Hyderabad office 4 days a week while also benefiting from the flexibility of remote work.

What You’ll Do:

Architecture & Design:

• Design scalable and efficient mobile architectures.
• Create technical specifications aligned with customer requirements and product vision.
• Develop reusable assets to streamline development across multiple projects.

Development:

• Lead mobile development in native (Android, iOS), hybrid, and progressive web applications.
• Implement complex features using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM) for cross-platform development.

Code Review & Mentorship:

• Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Define and enforce coding standards and best practices.

Customer & Product Focus:

• Collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Join customer meetings to gather insights and provide technical expertise.
• Ensure technical decisions align with product strategy and roadmap.

Technology Leadership:

• Evaluate and recommend new mobile technologies and frameworks.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in mobile and IoT.
• Contribute to ORBCOMM’s technical vision and long-term strategy.

Who You Are:

You’re passionate about building world-class mobile solutions and ready to lead innovation at scale, you’re passionate about cutting-edge technologies and driven to build applications that are performant, secure, and built to scale. If you have:

Education & Experience:

• 10+ years in mobile application development, with proven leadership on large-scale projects.
• Hands-on expertise in Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) development.
• Experience with hybrid frameworks (Kotlin Multiplatform, Flutter).
• Strong knowledge of IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP) and cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT).
• Skilled in designing, implementing, and consuming RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
• Strong understanding of mobile security best practices and OWASP guidelines.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proven technical leadership and ability to mentor development teams.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and SwiftUI.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
• Knowledge of machine learning and edge computing in mobile contexts (a plus).
• Contributions to open-source mobile projects or frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Agile methodologies and experience leading distributed teams.
