A little bit about the role:

ORBCOMM is a leading global provider of industrial Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication solutions that remotely track, monitor and control fixed and mobile assets. We are looking for a Billing Specialist who create invoices and billing materials to be sent directly to the customer and checks the accuracy of invoices while communicating updates with the team and the customer. The ideal candidate should be in Hyderabad.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Check invoices/credit memos
• Monitor emails for customer/account change requests
• Perform account authorizations
• Review and approve the creation of new customer accounts and billing rate
• Ensure client invoices are prepared in compliance with approved deal parameters and/or companies' general terms and conditions
• Submit electronic invoices, monitors, and tracks progress from billing to collection
• Prepare any special request reports and perform other duties and responsibilities as directed

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or business
• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar role
• Advanced computer skills using MS Office, especially Excel
• Solid understanding of billing systems
• Strong relationship building and facilitation skills to communicate with stakeholders on all levels of the organization regarding billing
• Prominent level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent team working skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Good critical thinking skills
• Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, handle interruptions while maintaining flexibility in work assignments
• Ability to submit e-billing invoices and work with multiple billing platforms
